Are you curious?
After months of hard work, our new boutique townhouse hotel opened its doors on Great Pulteney Street this week. With 22 individually-designed bedrooms (and more to come), a supremely chic cocktail bar, private dining rooms, restful sitting rooms and a cafe open for breakfast and relaxed lunches, we really want to become a place where Bathonians feel at home calling in for a coffee or light lunch during the day, or a glass of wine, G&T or cocktail in the evening.
The hotel has been transformed by No.15’s owners, Ian and Christa Taylor, together with Martin Hulbert Design – one of the stars of the UK interior design scene. We’d describe the style as idiosyncratic, with each space filled with vibrant pieces of art, collections and statement lighting. The Taylors have also invited local interior designers, Rossiters, Woodhouse and Law and Eton Design to put their own creative stamp on some of the bedrooms, ensuring that each and every one is a true original.
We have to say big thanks to Bath-based contractors Kennick, who’ve worked so hard to restore the hotel back to its original Georgian style and grandeur, as well as to all the local artisans, trades and artists who’ve helped us achieve The Taylors’ creative vision for No.15. We’ve also been working closely with the likes of Bath Spa University, King Edward’s School and Royal High School to commission alumni and students to paint murals for our loft rooms at the top of No.15.
We’re delighted to have created 20 new jobs with our new opening and have a great team in place who are passionate about delivering a memorable guest experience. We hope you’ll pop in to raise a glass with us, as we’re really excited to show you our new transformation!
P.s. Just in case you’re still mulling over your Christmas lunch plans, we still have some availability at No.15, where we will be serving a family-style sharing feast for each individual table. How good does that sound? You can tempt yourself here or simply call us on 01225 807015.
